Ultra-runner Lisa Smith-Batchen has been drinking Jule of the Orient in her quest to become the first person to run 50 miles/80 kilometers in each of the 50 states. During her 62-day trek across America, Lisa will run 2,500/4,000 miles/kilometers and raise a projected $1 million for charities that help children.
Her journey will take her through Phoenix, Arizona, with a stop at FreeLife’s World Headquarters, on June 8. On behalf of Goji-Kids FreeLife will be making a generous contribution to Lisa’s DreamChasers Foundation, which will disburse 100 percent of the donations among three children’s organizations.
Lisa says Jule plays a significant role in her endurance and recovery time. She plans to sport FreeLife T-shirts during portions of the run and has agreed to speak at FreeLife’s 2010 Convention in September
